A bid, a Buy Now, or an offer on Mazedna is a real commitment to pay. For bids and Buy Now the money side is automatic — the amount plus the buyer fee is held from your wallet up front and converts to escrow when you win, so the sale is final. An accepted offer is different: you settle it from your wallet within three days. Walking away from a commitment gets your account a strike — your ID, phone, and the payment method tied to your account get flagged across our network so the same person can't simply re-register. Two strikes = a permanent ban.
The same rule applies to sellers. If you list an item, you've agreed to honor the sale once a buyer pays. Cancelling on a buyer who has paid, ghosting after a win, or arranging an off-platform sale to dodge fees counts as a seller strike. Repeated strikes cap or ban your seller account.
We built this because the marketplace only works when both sides keep their word. The platform isn't looking for ways to ban people — we're looking for fair, fast, honest trades. If something legitimate goes wrong (item destroyed, family emergency, scam attempt by the other side), open a dispute from the order page within 7 days. Real disputes are reviewed by a human; no automatic strike.
If your account is wrongly flagged, email support@mazedna.com and we'll review within 24 hours.
